Wynn Millions Day 4: Vanessa Kade and Shaun Deeb among final sixteen

Sixteen players remain in the $10 million guaranteed Wynn Millions $10,000 Main Event. Day 4 saw the field whittled down from fifty-four players to sixteen.

Over the course of the day, the prizes increased from $38,384 (Daniel Wilson – 54th) to $94,272 (Sofia Lövgren). We also saw Veronica Brill drop by to take her Twitter-beef with Shaun Deeb outside and defending champ Andrew Moreno bust out in 23rd ($71,657).

There is $1.6 million up top for first and a tough field left to battle through.

Day 4 action

Yesterday (Day 3) of the Wynn Millions fell on International Women’s Day. So it was fitting that Vanessa Kade, one of the most outspoken advocates for women in poker, made it through the field to see Day 4.

There were four other women among 54-players who survived Day 3 and started Day 4: Katie Lindsay, Kim Ng, Debbie Lee, and Lövgren.

Of these women, Kade and Lee are the only two coming back for Day 5. Kade finished the day at fifth in chips with a stack of 3,575,000 (89 big blinds).

Kade tweeted at the end of Day 3: “through to Day 4 of @WynnPoker Millions Main Event gonna have just over 30bb with about 50 people left, $1.6M for first.”

Isaac Kempton tops out the field with 5,615,000 and will start Day 5 with 140 big blinds. He is closely followed in second by Ian Matakis with 5,030,000 (126 big blinds).

Other notables among the Day 4 survivors are Sean Perry (2,090,000 in chips) and Shaun Deeb (2,495,000).

Shaun Deeb lamented his failure to slow roll today. “Bagged 2.5m 16 left didn’t get to slow roll my targets are today.”

There is always tomorrow when players will return to play down to the final table.
